What are you listening to right now? Is it funky? Is it a pile of rubbish that you absolutley can't stand? Tell us about it

Right now I'm listening to

Hand Built By Robots by Newton Faulkner.

I was more impressed with his debut cd than I thought I would be.

8/10 :D

Well ~ I've been listening to the new Westlife CD that I bought my daughter for christmas........ She's a mad Weslife fan adn has had it playing in the car non stop since she got it

It's her 16th birthday on April 2nd, and sadly will be the 1st anniversary of my Dad's passing and she's been saying how horrible her birthday is going to be. So, to make it extra special I'm taking her to the NEC in Birmingham to see Westlfe in concert. She doesn't know yet!!

Bless her  sadly my mum died on boxing day last year so I know how you all fill. Tell her to try and not be to sad he wouldnt want that to spoil her special birthday and she will love the concert even if it drives you nuts. I got my friends daughter staying with us and when mum went she didnt know cause she was on holiday, the day she got back we told her about mum cause the day after was the funeral . It was her 16th in July 07 so we gave her a party . Mum would have loved it and my mum was 93. :) enjoy the concert with her your dad would want you to hun.

I agree, have fun, RS. :D (remember, cotton wool makes a fairly effective and inconspicuous set of ear plugs ;))

In a funny knid of way I'm actually looking forward to it ~ I've booked us some VIP tickets......... we go to a VIP lounge, have a meal and complimentary drinks then go through to the concert and have pretty decent seats ~ she's never been to a concert before and I just know she's going to love it. We're going March 12th.

Well I hope you do enjoy it let me know how you get on and what you both thought of it she will love it and the look on her face will make it all worth it. I took my girl to a concert of bros at wembley stadium years ago we missed most of it cause she was sick with a headache so we had to leave and go home. But I feel sure that wont happen to you she will be so excited when she finds out where she is going.

At the moment I'm listening to The Best of Girls Aloud (and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised :D). I really thought that it was going to be rubbish, there's some good songs on the cd.
